Over Weight

Over weight, obesity, weight loss, diets, you can’t go

a day without reading about these topics or seeing them

in the media. Do you ever wonder how did we get here?

Most of the solutions to all these situation is right at your  

finger tip. Although obesity is on the rise fast food  

restaurants out numbered fitness facility.

Exercise is not the only tool you can use to fight obesity,

but has the most benefits. Some of the benefits you get from  exercise are, agility, flexibility, cardiovascular fitness, muscle endurance muscle strength  and muscle mass. Building muscle mass is important, your muscle has a reserve of protein that is the building block for hormones that regulate many aspect of your life.

 Exercise can also improve the texture of your skin,

improve recovery time from injury or surgery and

help you fight infection. We know that people who exercise regularly have about forty percent fewer heart attacks and strokes. Take a close look and you will see some of the  diet company slowly catching up by recommending their clients to do moderate exercises.

One of the major complications of obesity is diabetes,

There might be a genetic factor in the cause of diabetes

but there is a greater need to pay close attention to your

diet and exercise. Over twenty five million people in the

in the United state have diabetes or pre diabetes and the

number is rising rapidly in Europe and Asia, there is need

for concern.

 The treatment for diabetics has come a long

way but there is still an alarming rate of people dying

of complications. Some diabetics consume diets low in  

carbohydrate, but high in saturated fats which elevate their

cholesterol leading to cardiovascular disease, and hypertension.  

Exercise should be high on the treatment plan for diabetes.

Athletes who are diabetics need lower insulin when

 they are active. Exercise also promote higher level hormone

and enzyme function, utilizing more blood sugar.

Moderate exercise between meals show good benefits for

diabetics in controlling their blood sugar, decreasing insulin

requirements and fulfilling their immediate need for oxygen

and energy. It is important to take your medications and follow

up with your doctor, however your need for diet modification

and exercise could improve your quality of life.
